The Manfrotto 190 XPROB and 055 XPROB Tripod have improved ergonomics, lighter weight, easier and faster to use. They allow the center column to be used in horizontal mode as well as conventional vertical at the TOUCH OF A BUTTON! This makes tripods from this range ideal for Copying, Macro and many other purposes.

The Manfrotto 190 and 055 PROB Tripods also allow you to use Centre Column Horizontally as well as in the normal manner and at ground level with column stump in vertical mode.
